Excellent site and thank you to all who worked on it. It gave me information about the regiment that my great great grandfather served in that I have not been able to find elsewhere.

I am writing a biography on Joseph Cornick, who was a member of the 13th Light Infantry from 1804 to 1820. His regiment fought in Canada in 1813-15. Is there anyway to confirm this information? Also, he was very musical and wrote a piece of music to celebrate the establishment of St. Andrews Lodge #62 A.F.&A.M. in Canada in 1855. Could he have been part of the militia's musical corp? How could I go about researching this further. Any information would be helpful. I also know that his wife's name was Hannah and that they had a son born on the Isle of Jersey in 1818. Is it possible that the 13th Light Infantry was on the Isle of Jersey at that time. Neil Dring, M.M. Caledonia, On Canada

Finally, a site that gives some info on the 85th Regiment in Canada during the Rebellion ( 1838 - 1842). I needed some confirmation that this regiment was in Upper Canada at that time, a marriage record had the words "85th of foot" and for a gggrandfather. Now all I need to do is find out how to access muster rolls!
