My uncle Harry Minns from Wootton near OXFORD was with the 5th Battilion Oxon and Bucks LI in Arras France. He was killed in an attack on German positions on May 3rd 1917. I have quite alot of info on the period and would like to hear from anyone with interest in the 5th Battilion at the time.

I am trying to find any information I can on my grandfather Pte. R E Webster.
He was with Ox&Bucks (22962)but somehow ended up with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment (29984)and was killed on September 3, 1916.
Where was he likely killed? Why would he switch regiments? Is it possible to find his military record? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

I am trying to trace anecdotal details of my grandfather, Danvers Harrington Trott, who served in the Ox & Bucks Light Infantry Secunderabad Division from 1st Sept 1917. He first enlisted in the British Navy at the start of WWI. Would appreciate tips on how to trace his records from the British Navy as well.

Hello,

I have two photographs of the Ox and Bucks Rgt taken between 1914 - 1918. They were passed down to me through the family and feature my paternal grandfather George Harrison. I do not have any other names of men featured, I could scan them and put them on this website if anyone would be interested? I would be interested to know more about the photographs.

Regards Chris WRIGHT.

I am trying to find some information on my uncle, Private Leonard Edwin MANN, Service Number 5388638 of the 2nd (Airborne) Btn, Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry. He was killed in a glider on 26 November 1943 at, I believe, Neatheravon Flying Ground. If anyone has information regarding the circumstances of his death I would be most grateful.
A great website, keep up the good work.
