Major W K Leet CB - Served in the Mutiny, Sekukuni and Zulu Campaigns, gaining the Victoria Cross in the last named. 2nd Lieutenant-Colonel 1st Battalion, July, 1881, and commanded it from May, 1883, until he exchanged to 2nd Battalion, which he commanded in the Burmese Campaign. Retired. July, 1887. at Inhlobana (Zululand)   28.3.1879
